The opportunity:
At GUS Germany, marketing is about understanding people — and building awareness about how our universities can satisfy their needs. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile Marketing Team Member who is ready to put on different hats. Our ideal candidate has to have some experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns with an emphasis on online branding and performance campaigns (especially SEO and/or Google Search Ads and/or Affiliate marketing. In addition to that, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategy building. Furthermore, he/she/they should be comfortable thriving in a high paced environment with tight deadlines. The Marketing Assistant will report directly into the Head of Marketing.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Support in the conception, design, implementation, and monitoring of marketing activities (with a focus on digital marketing)
- Assistance in the creation of regular reports on lead generation, lead quality, and performance improvement
- Support of the Senior Marketing Manager in the implementation of new information on the UE website and in the coordination of social media content for different target groups (in English and German)
- Demonstrated solid knowledge and experience in SEO and/or Google Ads and/or affiliate marketing in a national (DACH region) and international environment.
- Setting up and planning training courses and initiatives for sales
- Assisting in the creation of analysis reports on the higher education sector based on available data from primary and third-party providers (CRM data, Salesforce data, Google data, insights into competitors)
- Assisting in the creation of regular presentations
